We were able to see Amtrak leaving the station. There was even a camera woman there from the local news team.
We went to Whistle Stop Park, and across the parking lot is a real train you are allowed to explore. We finally made the trip over there and what a beautiful day it turned out to be. It was 66 degrees when we left.
