Western Day at School

The boys had western day at their school. In PE they have been preparing by learning different western dances. They got to show off their dances and also enjoy a few western relay and round up races.
This is Luke dancing with his best friend Sam.

There were no winning teams. In fact they added some Rodeo clowns into the mix to make things interesting.
This clown went for a ride in Luke's wagon while he was trying to pull it and fill it with cooking and camping supplies.

I thought this was an interesting sight as Jon was coming in. They were getting set up for the Cotton Eyed Joe and it looked like they were all trying to be his partner. Many others paired up Boy Boy or Girl Girl
He looks so grown up!
The teachers even joined in on the fun. Jon's teacher is the 4th from the left, Mrs. Gregory.
This was one of the funniest and scariest races. They would push each other across the floor and then trade places and push each other back. Many times they would just push and let go. it is amazing no one got hurt flying into each other and walls.

This clown would not let go and was continuing to load Jon's wagon. They were only supposed to have one of each item, so Jon spent a lot of time going back and unloading items from his wagon.
I hope their new school next year is just as FUN!
