This was a very different Easter this year. The reason this was such a special Easter, is we lost Pappy at 12:22 am. He is up in Heaven Celebrating with Jesus over his sacrifice for the human race. For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. I am at peace knowing that my grandpa had a wonderful relationship with God. The blessing side of this day is that as one soul was being welcomed into heaven, while my nephew was being welcomed into this world. Ian Bruce was born at 11:27 this morning. He was a little guy just 3 lbs 5oz. God always knows what he is doing. He brought joy out of sadness into our family.
Enjoying the beautiful colors Easter brings!
Luke had some of the funniest eggs. I need to go back and take close ups with captions. One egg he wrote the ABC's. Another he wrote numbers 1-26 since there are 26 letters in the alphabet. Then he drew almost every cartoon character he could think of, Sponge Bob and LALA Loopsy included.
Jon worked a lot slower and with purpose. He drew the stone rolled away from the tomb. Another simply said HOLY with holes drawn on the egg.
Easter Morning

We did a combo of Easter and Bluebonnet pictures. The bluebonnets were pretty scarce this year. They hate the tradition, but I love my pictures. We probably spent more time driving there than taking pictures, and it is just down the street.
