My brother is one of the sweetest most laid back guys I know. Growing up he had to deal with mine and my sister's petty fights over who was going to turn out the light at bed time. Many times he would tire of hearing us bicker and would come into our room and turn it out for us. This is only one of the ways in which we prepared him for his life raising 5 girls. If you have ever been to his house it is LOUD!!!!! It has to be, to be heard above all the other girls. Daniel just sits there quietly and rarely raises his voice.
Finally he got his boy, Ian Bruce! He didn't come into this world very easily. He was born at 33 weeks and breathing on his own. He did have to stay in the NICU and put on some weight. He was only 3lbs 5oz at birth. It was a long wait to bring him home, but as you can see in these pictures they are just smitten with him!
Aunt Brittany had to hold him first
The three Bruces
This was Daniels wagon when he was a baby. Now he gets to pass it on to Ian.
This is Ian's favorite way to relax. The monkey in a tree pose.
It is a shame they don't love him.
Beaming Parents
Uncle Nick with Kadin. He wanted to see his play mate too!
A Mother's Love
Luke holding Ian. He was very stiff and unsure about holding him.
Jon was excited about holding him. He seemed very comfortable. Jon has asked how soon before he can babysit.
Kadin was showing off his skills. He can crawl backwards just not quite going forward yet. He is one of the happiest babies.
He also loves to tug on Grandpa's beard.
